The exhibition of consumer electronics CES is the largest event in the technology industry all over the world. Since 1970, the exhibition has been held annually in Las Vegas. Here, for the first time, a CD-ROM, a sound card, a tablet, a netbook and almost any household device that we use every day were presented for the first time here for the first time.
From the very foundation of our company, we wanted to participate in CES, as it is, in fact, an exhibition of the best world achievements. Every year, Samsung, Sony, Mercedes, Nissan, Nicon, Google and many other companies take part. This is an exhibition of the big league. According to the concentration of innovations per square meter, there are no better exhibitions in the world.
This year, CES was visited by 50,000 people from all over the world. Attended by 3500 companies. The exhibition was covered by 3200 media.
The decision to participate was spontaneous for us. During daily work cases, it was difficult to collect thoughts and firmly put a decision in advance. We understood that we needed to go, but we went over to concrete actions when we realized that in 2017 we produced more robots for export than for the Russian market. In August-September we just sent a new batch of robots to Chile, signed a major contract with a company from the US, and we simultaneously entered into the process of signing an agreement with a company from Singapore.
Prior to CES, we did not participate in international exhibitions independently, only in Russian ones. Since we are a resident of Skolkovo, a portfolio company of the IIDF and a winner of the GenerationS-2014, which is run by the RVC, we have always had the opportunity to participate in many major international trade shows. Infrastructure funds, as a rule, built up a stand, communicated with contractors about the Internet and electricity. We just came and exhibited, like other Russian innovative companies. Therefore, for us, participation in the CES has become a pioneer one in all senses.
Further, we will talk about how to prepare for participation in the cycle of posts in our blog,.
